Withdrawal and returns

1. The right of withdrawal

As a consumer you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period runs from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, takes possession of the goods. For an order of several items, from the day the last item is received.

2. When it does not apply

For perfume this is the point that matters most. Under section 29(1)(e) of the decree, there is no right of withdrawal for sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once they have been unsealed after delivery.

• An unopened bottle with its factory seal intact: withdrawal applies.
• An opened bottle, and an opened decanted sample or discovery set: withdrawal does not apply, because of the exception above.
• If the product is faulty or damaged, your warranty rights apply regardless of whether it was opened — that is a separate matter from withdrawal.

3. How to withdraw

You may exercise the right by an unequivocal statement sent to the email address below. You may use the model form below, but you are not obliged to. The right is exercised in time if the statement is sent before the 14-day period expires.

5. Effects of withdrawal

• You must send the goods back without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of notifying withdrawal.
• You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
• We refund all payments received, including the cost of delivery, within 14 days of being informed of the withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you supply evidence of having sent them.
• If you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard one we offer, we do not refund the difference.
• You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.
